Management consulting firm CYLAD appoints Jaco Vosloo as Partner in Australia, strengthening its Energy expertise
On 2 February 2026, Jaco Vosloo started as a new CYLAD partner in the Sydney office in Australia. With more than 20 years of experience across petroleum, energy infrastructure and energy transition for Government (inc. Defence) and private sectors, Jaco will play a key role in accelerating CYLAD’s growth in Australia, particularly within the Energy and Utilities sector.
Before joining CYLAD’s partnership, Jaco spent six years at Deloitte Australia as Director in the Infrastructure & Industrials practice, where he advised Defence and private sector clients on the challenges posed by the rapidly evolving fuel industry, including organisational readiness, supply chain and infrastructure resilience and positioning for the energy transition.
Before that, he spent more than four years at Eneos, Japan’s largest oil refiner and marketer, as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Supply for its Australian fuels marketing and distribution subsidiary. There, he held executive responsibility for end-to-end supply chain operations, operational excellence, commercial fuel supply agreements and relevant M&A due diligence and business integration activities.
« Over the past two years, CYLAD Australia has experienced exceptional growth, expanding into new sectors, new geographies, and new client partnerships. With Jaco’s arrival, we are reinforcing our ambition to become a leading partner for industry participants in Australia, to grow and remain competitive in a rapidly changing operating environment. »
Romain Bertin
Partner at CYLAD Australia
Earlier in his career, he joined Ampol (formerly Caltex Australia), where he held several senior leadership roles including National Biofuels Supply Manager, State Operations Manager, and National Business Development Manager (Mining).
Jaco began his career in 2005 at Allnex in polymer product development and production before moving into alternative liquid fuels import and manufacturing with an Australian biofuels marketer as Group Technical and Supply Chain Manager.
Jaco’s expertise spans areas that are a close fit with CYLAD’s established DNA such as large-scale program and project delivery, operational excellence, operating model design and major organisational transformation programs. He will bring deep fuel industry and energy transition expertise to enable CYLAD’s continued growth into Energy and Utilities in Australia and globally.
He holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Sydney and is a graduate of the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa).
Jaco takes up this role in a context of rapid growth for CYLAD in Australia and worldwide. In fiscal year 2024/2025, CYLAD Australia more than doubled its turnover compared with the previous year, while the local team doubled in size in 2025.
CYLAD Strengthens Its Global Energy Expertise
Jaco becomes part of a growing Energy & Utilities team, reflecting CYLAD’s strong ambition to support major transformations in the sector worldwide.
In recent months, CYLAD has welcomed three new Energy Partners, including Daniel Mader (Austria), Romain Capaldi (France), and Jaco Vosloo (Australia). These strategic appointments further strengthen a team already deeply active in the sector, alongside Gautier Tribet, who joined CYLAD in 2024 and was recognised in 2025 as one of the Top Consultants and Leaders in Energy by The Consulting Report.
